Welcome to Northeast Georgia Mustang Club
Northeast Georgia Mustang Club
The Northeast Georgia Mustang Club (NEGMC) is Chartered by the Mustang Club Of America as a regional club covering all or portions of the Georgia Counties: Walton, Banks, Jackson, Barrow, Jasper, Forsyth, Hall, Occonee, Stephens, Franklin, Lumpkin, Madison, Clarke, White, and Habersham. The club tries to meet each month at different locations throughout the region covered by our charter. Each fall we held a show in Cherokee, NC which had become a tradition for 33 years. A few years ago, we moved the show to Maggie Valley because we had outgrown our old site in Cherokee. The new facility proved to be a good choice as we had 169 cars for our 39th show. In addition to the Maggie Valley Show, we hold a spring cruise in/car show and a fall Toys for Tots show at Mustangs Unlimited in Lawrenceville, GA. Our year ends with a Toys for Tots shopping trip and drop off at Jacky Jones Ford in Cleveland. Our club supports the USMC Toys for Tots as our major charity.
A large number of the membership participate in shows and events as a group or just meet up for dinner somewhere. For the latest info on when we do things as a group like us on Facebook to stay up to date. Look around and if you are interested in becoming a member contact one of us on the contacts page or download an application at the link on the right side of the page.
Toys for Tots Dropoff/Next Meeting
The Toys for Tots purchase/dropoff and next club meeting will be on Saturday December 7th. If you want to join us for the drive up to the Cleveland Walmart, we'll leave the Oakwood QuikTrip at 9:15 or meet us at the Walmart at 10:00. We'll do the toy purchase there, load the Mustangs up and drive to Jacky Jones Ford to drop off the toys and get pictures, then have our club meeting. Once the meeting is over, we'll cruise over to Hawg Wild in Clarksville for a late lunch.
Come on out and join us, this is the most fun we have all year! If you have any questions, email Rick at email@example.com or call him at 678-371-5799.
Maggie Valley 2013 SummaryI'd like to thank all the members who came out to the show this weekend and helped out. I thought the show went very well, with very few problems, and I thought everyone did a fantastic job and appreciate all the help, I do appreciate everyone getting out there and busting there butts to make the show a success.
To clear up the ending car count, we thought we were in the low 180's yesterday in a rushed count, but taking more time today, found the actual was 161, still a great turnout. Thanks everyone!
Club After Christmas Party
